The sample group consisted of 35 students majoring in Animation, Games, and Digital Media at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University who enrolled in Physical Science for Animation course in the second semester of academic year 2023. The research instruments included a 2D digital innovation prototype on Sound Waves, pre-test and post-test assessments, and a digital innovation acceptance evaluation form. The statistical analysis methods included mean, standard deviation, and t-test.

The research findings revealed that the quality assessment results comparing post-test scores were significantly higher than pre-test scores at the .05 level, with a learning development increase of 60.45%. The acceptance level of the 2D digital innovation prototype was high ( = 4.20, S.D. = 0.57). The results indicated that the developed digital innovation can be effectively used to promote flipped classroom learning.
2025-07-03T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Animation Game Digital Media and Technology Journal https://li02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/animationGDTJ/article/view/1154 Design and Development of 3D Animation Characters of Giants from Thai Literature to Promote Thai Culture in a Senior Project Course 2025-04-09T13:28:04+07:00 Karn Kumpai karn.ku@bsru.ac.th Borrirak Assawawirunrit karn.ku@bsru.ac.th
This research aimed to 1) design and develop a quality 3D animation character based on the giant characters from Thai literature to promote Thai culture, 2) evaluate the quality of the design and development of the 3D animation character based on the giant characters from Thai literature to promote Thai culture, and 3) study the satisfaction with the design and development of the 3D character. The population and sample consisted of 70 third-year undergraduate students majoring in Animation, Game and Digital Media, Faculty of Science and Technology, Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, who were enrolled in the 3D Animation Design and Development course during the 2024 academic year. The entire population was used as the sample group. The research instruments included 1) an evaluation form for experts to assess the quality of 3D character design and development, divided into 3parts: character design data quality evaluation, character design evaluation, and 3D character production technique quality evaluation, and 2) a satisfaction evaluation form for the design and development of the 3D character. The evaluation forms in this research were validated using the Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC), with scores ranging from 0.67 to 1.00. The data were analyzed using mean and standard deviation. The research results found that 1) the quality 3D animation character "Chananchida" was developed from giant characters in Thai literature to promote Thai culture, 2) the quality evaluation of the design and development of the 3D animation character was rated at the highest level, and 3) the satisfaction with the design and development of the 3D animation character was also rated at the highest level.
2025-07-03T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Animation Game Digital Media and Technology Journal https://li02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/animationGDTJ/article/view/1168 Development and Performance Evaluation of a Cultural Tourism Planning Application for Pathumthani Province 2025-05-12T11:11:36+07:00 Nuchsharat Nuchprayoon nuchsharat.n@rmutsb.ac.th Wachiraporn Polpanumas Nuchsharat.n@rmutsb.ac.th Suwat Suwatthanachaiwong Nuchsharat.n@rmutsb.ac.th Teerasak Khusirirat Nuchsharat.n@rmutsb.ac.th
The purposes of this research were to design and develop a cultural tourism planning application for Pathum Thani Province, to evaluate the application's efficiency, and to study user satisfaction. The samples consisted of 15 experts and 400 tourists. The research instruments included the application developed using Android Studio and PhpMyAdmin, an efficiency evaluation form, and a satisfaction assessment form. Data were analyzed using mean and standard deviation.

The results revealed that: 1) The developed application could operate on mobile devices and store information about cultural tourist attractions, restaurants, emergency locations, and provide travel planning assistance through GPS tracking; 2) The efficiency evaluation by experts showed an overall high level (𝑥̅ = 4.11, S.D. = 0.61), with technical aspects rated at a high level (𝑥̅ = 4.12, S.D. = 0.57) and information presentation also at a high level (𝑥̅ = 4.10, S.D. = 0.65); 3) The overall user satisfaction was at a high level (𝑥̅ = 4.37, S.D. = 0.71), with the highest satisfaction being that the application enhanced travel convenience (𝑥̅ = 4.65, S.D. = 0.58). These findings indicate that the developed application effectively meets tourists' needs in planning cultural tourism experiences in Pathum Thani Province.
2025-07-03T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Animation Game Digital Media and Technology Journal https://li02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/animationGDTJ/article/view/1170 Development of a Game-Based Application to Enhance Algebra Learning Skills for Junior High School 2025-04-23T08:14:56+07:00 Thanwa Sae-chia tunwa3111@gmail.com Apinan Srirumalai 6421292010@bsru.ac.th Sompob Saelee sompob.sa@bsru.ac.th Pienthip Srisutham peanthip.sr@bsru.ac.th Natthamon Heebchanakree natthamol.h@bsru.ac.th
This research aims to: 1) develop a game application to enhance algebra learning skills and 2) evaluate the quality of the game application for enhancing algebra learning skills. The development follows the Spiral Model and the Games-Based Learning approach. The application is developed using RPG Maker MV, with the user interface designed in Adobe Photoshop. The sample group consists of three web application development experts. Data analysis is conducted using mean and standard deviation.
The research results show that the developed game application supports responsive web design. The overall expert evaluation is at a high level (𝑥̄ = 4.08, S.D. = 0.56). The highest scores are in system analysis and design (𝑥̄ = 4.10, S.D. = 0.42) and efficiency (𝑥̄ = 4.10, S.D. = 0.49), followed by user interface design (𝑥̄ = 4.04, S.D. = 0.48). In conclusion, the application is suitable and effective for enhancing algebra learning skills.

2025-07-03T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Animation Game Digital Media and Technology Journal https://li02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/animationGDTJ/article/view/1189 Development of an AI Chatbot for Tourist Recommendations in Phuket, Thailand 2025-05-24T11:02:41+07:00 Sumana Budsabok sumana.p@rmutsb.ac.th Kittiya Punyayaw kittiya.p@rmutsb.ac.th Sasiprapa Boonlert sasiprapa.b@rmutsb.ac.th Pavanaphat Srisongmuang pavannaphat.s@rmutsb.ac.th
This study aimed to develop and evaluate the performance of an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot designed to deliver tourist information in Phuket, Thailand. The chatbot was implemented on the LINE platform and equipped with core features including categorized menus for tourist attractions, local restaurants, accommodations, and daily trip suggestions, all integrated with map-based navigation. Performance was assessed by seven experts and 120 tourists. The evaluation revealed that the system achieved excellent response speed (= 4.61, S.D.= 0.06) and high usability ( = 4.42, S.D.= 0.11). Tourist feedback showed a high level of overall satisfaction ( = 4.17, S.D.= 0.07), particularly regarding system speed and stability.
