The Information System for the Planning and Budget Management of the Office of Yasothon Primary Educational Service Area 2

Abstract

The research aimed 1) to study the information system for the suitable plan management and budget for the Office of Yasothon Primary Educational Service Area 2; and 2) to explore the efficiency of the information system under study. The research was conducted by using PHP as the language for the development. The relational database was constructed with MySQL. The samples used in the research were 31 working staff and administrators. They were derived by a specific sampling. The research instrument used to evaluate the efficiency of the system was a five-rating scale questionnaire. Computer experts, users and administrators evaluated the system. Statistics used in data analysis were mean and standard deviation. The research findings were as follows: 1) the information system for the plan management and budget suitable for the Office of Yasothon Primary Educational Service Area 2 was a web application. It could record real time data and was easy to access. It was to be fast and accurate in response to the users’ needs and demands. The suitable information system had to provide the details on projects and budget. Details could be stored in the database system. Data were processed and shown as demanded by users Furthermore. 2) the efficiency of the system was evaluated by experts, users and administrators, average total 4.20 was found to be at a good level. It was found to be congruent and suitable with users and administrators and was practical.
