The development of information system for managing academic conference articles

Abstract
National or international academic conferences are one of the universal channels that provide great opportunities to researchers. They are main venues for research presentation, knowledge and opinions exchanges among academia including research network development. The research article management through a particular online information system will facilitate all stakeholders such as authors, reviewers and system administrators. The system was developed under the concept of system development life cycle in addition with the SQL Server database management system and PHP. The system was designed to support all groups of users throughout the academic conference processes. It included the processes of registration, paper submission, electronics payment, paper review and reports. Furthermore, the system evaluation in aspects of data and system components revealed that the overall performance was in the range of high level ( = 4.19, S.D. = 0.289)
