The Application of Google Sheets and Line Notify to Improve the Efficiency of Operational Processes for Logistics Service Providers

Abstract

The research titled " The application of Google Sheets and Line Notify to improve the efficiency of operational processes for logistics service providers" aims to study and analyze the operational processes by applying Google Sheets to design and develop a monitoring system with notifications via Line Notify. This study aims to improve operational processes using lean thinking to reduce waste and evaluate the satisfaction of users in the operations department. The research involves data collection before improvement (Pre Lean) and after improvement (Post Lean) using Google Sheets and Line Notify system. Demonstrations were conducted for a sample group to test and assess the system's efficiency. The study included related research designs, system development, testing, and analysis of usage results from a sample of 10 out of 15 users. Data analysis was performed using inferential statistics to study the efficiency of using Google Sheets in reducing procedural steps, cycle time, and enhancing overall efficiency. The results showed that the new system reduced the number of steps from 11 to 7 and reduced the cycle time from 88 to 32 minutes. User satisfaction was at the highest level (mean = 4.82, S.D. = 0.39). The new system facilitated rapid and efficient data updates, significantly reducing waste and enhancing operational efficiency.
