Publication Ethics

Duties of Authors

     1. Submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published or disseminated elsewhere.

     2. All authors listed in the manuscript must have made genuine and substantial contributions to the work.

     3. Authors must not plagiarize the work of others. Proper citations must be provided whenever the work or ideas of others are used or referenced, both within the text and in the reference list. Manuscripts submitted must not exceed 25% textual similarity, as verified by CopyCatch software for thaijo.

     4. Authors must agree to transfer copyright to the journal prior to publication and must not publish or disseminate the manuscript in other sources once it has been accepted for publication.

     5. Authors must prepare and submit manuscripts strictly in accordance with the formatting and submission guidelines specified by the journal.

 

Duties of Reviewers

     1. Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts primarily on the basis of academic merit, using sound scholarly judgment, without bias, and must declare no conflicts of interest with the authors.

     2. Reviewers must complete their evaluations within the prescribed timeframe and must not disclose any information about the manuscript to unauthorized individuals.

     3. Reviewers must undertake assessments only when they possess appropriate expertise and understanding of the manuscript’s subject matter.

     4. Reviewers must not seek personal or professional gain from the manuscripts under review under any circumstances.

     5. If reviewers identify plagiarism or duplication in the manuscript under evaluation, they must immediately inform the journal editor or recommend rejection of the manuscript.

 

Duties of Editors and Editorial Board Members

     1. Editors and editorial board members are responsible for evaluating and screening all submitted manuscripts for publication, ensuring alignment with the journal’s aims and scope, and verifying manuscript quality prior to acceptance.

     2. Editors and editorial board members must make decisions based solely on academic considerations, without prejudice toward the manuscript, its authors, or the authors’ institutional affiliations.

     3. Editors and editorial board members must declare no conflicts of interest with authors or reviewers, must not exploit manuscripts or the journal for commercial purposes, and must not claim submitted works as their own.

     4. Editors and editorial board members must not alter reviewers’ evaluation results and must primarily rely on reviewers’ recommendations in making publication decisions.

     5. Editors and editorial board members must strictly adhere to the journal’s established processes and procedures.

     6. If plagiarism or duplication is detected in a manuscript under consideration, editors and editorial board members must immediately notify the authors and reject the manuscript.

     7. Editors and editorial board members must maintain confidentiality and must not disclose the identities of reviewers or authors to unauthorized individuals.

     8. Editors and editorial board members must not publish manuscripts that have already been published elsewhere.
