The Development of Application for Cultural Food Wisdom Transfer to Yaku Rice of Mon Ethnicity in Sangkhlaburi District, Kanchanaburi Province

Abstract

         The objectives of this research were 1) to develop an application for cultural food wisdom transfer to Yaku rice of Mon ethnicity, 2) to study the effectiveness of the application for cultural food wisdom transfer to Yaku rice of Mon ethnicity, and 3) to study the satisfaction of user of application for cultural food wisdom transfer to Yaku rice of Mon ethnicity in Sangkhlaburi district, Kanchanaburi province. The process of studying the effectiveness of the application was conducted by having a group of 7 experts assess the application's efficiency to test the function's suitability in 2 areas, content and storyboard and media production. After that, the satisfaction of users of the Yaku rice application was studied by selecting a sample group by simple random sampling, consisting of 30 people to evaluate the efficiency of use in 2 areas, design and efficiency. The statistics used in this research were mean and standard deviation. The result of the research showed that overall efficiency has the highest level and the highest level of user satisfaction. Thus, The development of an application for cultural food wisdom transfer to Yaku rice of Mon ethnicity is an effective tool that conservation learning and wisdom transfer for a long time. This wisdom of Mon ethnicity will not disappear from the community.
