Tissue culture of Kaffir lime (Citrus hystrix DC.) seeds was used to study the effect of Kinetin on multiple shoot induction from cultivation on Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium supplemented with Kinetin at various concentrations of 0, 1, 2 and 3 mg/L. after 4 weeks cultivation of the Kaffir lime seeds, MS medium supplemented with the concentration of 1, 2, 3 mg/L of KIN produced the highest average number of induced shoot which is equal 100 %. MS medium with KIN added Not added. KIN originated from the production of kaffir lime seeds that arrived at 85.71and when studying the induction of increasing the number of shoots. It was found that the MS medium containing KIN at the concentration of 1 mg/l The highest average number of shoots was 2.86±1.07 shoots per seed (mean shoots: 3.20±0.67 shoots) and the percentage of root formation was 100%.
