Development of Video on Orchids Seed Planted for knowledge transfer to farmers

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to development of video on Orchids seed planted for knowledge transfer to farmers, 2) to compare the pretest scores with posttest score after learning from the video, and 3) to study the farmers’ satisfaction on the development of the video. The population in this research was 28 farmers who planted orchids at Saipar sub-district, Banglane district, Nakhon Pathom province. The research instruments were 1) video on orchids seed planted, 2) evaluation form pretest - posttest, and 3) farmers’ satisfaction questionnaire. Data were analyzed by percentage, mean, and Standard Deviation. The research results were 1) the efficiency of video on orchids seed planted was at good level,               2) the farmers’ post-test scores after studied through video on orchids seed planted were statistically significant higher than the pre-test scores at .05 level, and 3) the farmers’ satisfaction on the video was at the high level on the contents and presentation techniques. The components of the video such as the quality of sound were at the fair level. However, they accepted this video have beneficial and usefulness was at the high level.
